Getannshu GK Mittal is the founder of SOMAWA — India’s NRDC-backed alkaline water ionizer brand, incubated under the National Research Development Corporation, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. An IIM Calcutta MBA, he leads SOMAWA’s brand, product and go-to-market, and writes the water-science explainers in the SOMAWA Journal.
His writing focuses on the three measurable properties of restructured water — alkaline pH, dissolved molecular hydrogen, and oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) — and on the case for an indigenously engineered alternative to imported ionizers, built for Indian water conditions and a 25-year operational standard.
